Our cleaning products, manufactured by The Clean Environment Co. Inc. were selected by the City of Santa Monica, California. Of seventeen companies submitting environmentally friendly cleaning products, The Clean Environment Company products were selected for 14 of 15 categories. Two years after the selection, the E.P.A. stated the City of Santa Monica was paying 5% less than they had been paying for their old cleaning products. In addition, the janitorial staff said they were able to clean better and didn’t have the fumes which caused headaches or rashes on their hands and arms they had previously experienced.
In 1998 The Clean Environment Company cleaning products were selected for Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park for tests sponsored by the E.P.A. The tests were intended to assist in setting guidelines for all national parks. 52 of our national parks are currently using these cleaning products.
The Clean Environment Company’s products are recommended by the Children’s Health Environmental Coalition. This non-profit organization researches the cause of childhood cancers in relation to the environment. They have found evidence that household chemicals may be a cause of some of the rising numbers of children with cancer.
The Green Hotel Association and The Green Restaurant Association recommend the Clean Environment Company’s products to all their members.
Hackensack University Medical Center hired a consultant to help them achieve a program to “green” the hospital. The hospital changed their cleaning products in nearly all areas to products manufactured by The Clean Environment Company to reduce the amount of toxic chemicals that patients and staff would be exposed to and reduce the toxicity in the waste they generate. They have been recognized by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association with an Award for Excellence for their efforts.
The Clean Environment Company, with the aid of their distributors, has been awarded contracts with the city of San Francisco, City of Seattle, the state of Massachusetts, and Newark International Airport. They are the supplier to the City of New York, many schools, and other government agencies.
